If you are reading this portion of our material, it indicates you are already a committed The Business monks subscriber or are at least curious about us, so thank you for being here. With our services and amazing mentors, we want to provide excellent mentorship and assist startups and existing firms in reaching their full potential.
Wherever you see the terms ‘us,’ ‘we,’ or ‘our,’ we’re referring to The Business Monks, which manages and provides this website, including its services, to members, users, mentees, mentors, and clients based on your acceptance of these Terms of Service (ToS) as defined above.
Our services are only available to people aged 18 and over. Anyone under the age of 18 is explicitly forbidden from accessing or using our website or services.
Our Provision of Service
Although we demand correct information from any third parties with whom we collaborate and/or utilize our services, we do not promote any of our members, users, mentees, mentors, or customers. We are not a party to any agreements made between mentors and mentees, and we have no control over or responsibility for any information or advice shared between mentors and members.
These Terms of Service apply to any new features or tools that may be introduced to our website. You agree that we are not responsible for any loss or harm resulting from your reliance on information supplied on our website or via our services. For whatever reason, we have the right to reject or limit services to anyone or any country at any time. Without our explicit written permission, you undertake not to replicate, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any aspect of our services, usage, or access to our services. We retain the right to change or cancel any aspect or content of our services at any time and without notice. You are not allowed to send any viruses or malware to or through our website. You are not permitted to use our services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose, nor in violation of any international or territorial laws. Any breach or violation of the ToS will result in your services being immediately terminated. These Terms of Service apply to any new features or tools that may be introduced to our website.
Our Accuracy of Information
We go to great lengths to ensure that our mentors’ expertise and abilities, as well as any advice or information, are accurately represented on our website. We hope and expect that any services you purchase will meet or exceed your expectations. If you believe service was not delivered according to your expectations, or if you observe any omissions or errors on our website about our services descriptions, availability, or promotions, please contact TheBusinessMonks at mentee.support@thebusinessmonks.com so that we can rectify the matter. We do not commit to update or change any information on our website unless required by law, and we are not responsible for incorrect, incomplete, or out-of-date information. Our website may contain or relate to historical material; however, while we strive to keep the bulk of our content up to date, comprehensive, and accurate, we are under no duty to update anything on our website. Our website’s content is provided for your consideration and as general information. Before making any decisions, we urge that a variety of sources of information be explored and consulted. Any reliance on our website’s content is at your own risk.
User Conduct
At mentee.support@thebusinessmonks.com, we welcome and encourage you to send us your feedback, thoughts, and recommendations for improving our website and services.
If you leave comments on our website, you promise that they will not infringe on any third-party rights, such as copyright, trademark, privacy, or proprietary rights. Your comments will not contain any content that is illegal, offensive, or inappropriate. You may not mislead us or others about the source of any remarks. It is entirely your responsibility to ensure that the comments you make are accurate. Please note that we assume no responsibility for any remarks made by you or anyone else. You may not use our website for any illegal purpose or to solicit others to participate in illegal acts based on international or jurisdictional rules. On our website, harassment, intimidation, or insults are not tolerated. You may not send or upload any virus or other malware that might harm our services in any manner, nor may you spam, phish, scrape, or crawl.
For breaking any provision of the ToS, we have the right to suspend or restrict our services or any associated website. We make every effort to monitor, edit, and delete improper information, but we are under no duty to do so.
Our use of Personal Information and its Transfer
You acknowledge that the information you give may be transported across international networks and may be subject to format changes to facilitate such transfers. Only encrypted formats will be used to convey payment information.
Our Privacy Policy governs the submission of personal information through our website.
Our links with Third Parties
We shall make it obvious on our website when we collaborate with or actively support the third party. Third-party content and services may be included in some of the information and services available on our website. We are not responsible for monitoring or analyzing the content of third-party websites, and we disclaim all liability for any third-party materials, websites, or connections to non-affiliated third parties. We may provide you with access to third-party tools; but, any use of such tools by you is solely at your own risk, and we will have no liability resulting from or related to your use of them. We are not responsible for any losses or damages incurred as a result of the use of our services, resources, material, or other transactions. Any concerns about third-party services should be addressed to the appropriate third party. Please contact us at mentee.support@thebusinessmonks.com if you believe the third party has not responded to you in a timely or equitable manner.
The Business Monks is a subscription-based community that provides members with a variety of value-added services such as free mentorship, access to the help request tool, and access to a private Slack group.
Our Pricing
Subscriptions must be assigned to a single individual and are not transferable. If you share TheBusinessMonks services with someone who isn’t registered, your account will be suspended.
Our service price is subject to change at any moment, without warning, and at our discretion. Any modification, pricing change, suspension, or discontinuance of our services will not be accountable to you or any other party.
Fees for Mentors
The fee owed and payable to a mentor is decided upon between the mentor and us at the beginning of our collaboration and before a mentor is published on our website. These fees will be posted on the website in US Dollars and quoted according to the length of the session (15 min, 30 min, or 60 min).
We’ll deduct a part of the mentor cost from the mentee’s payment and send the rest to the mentor via Stripe in US dollars. Mentors are now charged a 15% fee. There are no refunds on service fees.
Any changes to our pricing or payment methods will be communicated to you in writing before implementation.
Fees for Mentees
You agree to pay all fees associated with completed sessions.
We or our approved third-party payment processor will collect the fees due through credit card after a session is scheduled. You will be asked for billing information such as your name, billing address, and credit card information to complete your payment. If payments are processed by a third party, we will guarantee that they are made using a secure payment method. Please be aware that if your transaction is handled by a third-party processor, the processor’s terms and conditions, as well as its privacy policy, will apply to your transaction. Before using the services, please read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of the third parties.
You should also see whether your credit card company charges fees for paying for these services. We are not responsible for any credit card processing transactions that your supplier charges you.
You agree to give up-to-date, complete, and correct billing information, such as your email address, credit card number, and expiration date so that we can complete your transactions and notify you as needed.
When you schedule a session, you permit us to charge your credit card to collect the fees indicated on our website in respect to your chosen Mentor.
This session will be considered completed if you do not attend a paid call and the mentor is present.
Non-Circumvention
The TheBusinessMonks portal must be used to plan all mentorship meetings. Mentors or mentees that advise making or accepting payment outside of the TheBusinessMonks platform for services done or connections created via the Business Monks platform violate the terms of service.
Refund
If no calls have been booked in the system, you can get a refund within 14 days after joining.
When a call with a mentor is sought and accepted within the platform, or when the direct messaging mechanism is utilized to elicit guidance from mentors or connect outside of the site, refund options are forfeited.

Severability
If any term of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the provision will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Any provision found to be void will be deleted from the ToS, but the validity of the remaining provisions will not be affected.
Termination
When you cease to use our services or inform us that you no longer plan to use our services, the ToS will come to an end.
We also retain the right to change or alter these Terms of Service at any time. If we think that any provision of the ToS has been violated, we may suspend or discontinue our services without notice. You must pay in full all payments owed to you at the time of termination.
When attendance concerns emerge, the Attendance Policy Administration has the authority to cancel membership. Mentors’ time must be respected, and members must schedule wisely.
Defamatory reviews
We retain the right to remove reviews that do not match our basic quality criteria, such as those that are plagiarized from other sources, include defamatory remarks, or suggest a punitive character and aim.
Liability Limitation
We do not promise that our services will be available at all times, or that they will be secure or error-free. You acknowledge that our services may be discontinued at any time without notice.
We, our officers, directors, service providers, contractors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any injuries, damages, losses, claims, or any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation, lost profits or revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill, replacement costs, service interruption, system failure, or any other similar damages, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise.
We can not guarantee that the results gained via the use of our services will be accurate or reliable, and we will not be held accountable for any conversations or interactions you may have with any third parties as a consequence of your use of our website.
Our responsibility will be restricted to the full extent of the law. In no circumstances will our total responsibility arising out of or in connection with these TOS exceed the amount you paid or owing for sessions organized through our website in the 12 months before the incident giving rise to the liability, whichever is greater, or $200US Dollars.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us and our affiliates, as well as their officers, directors, service providers, contractors, employees, and agents, harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with (1) your access to or use of our website, its content, and services; (2) your violation of these TOS; (3) any comments or information you provide to us.
Complete Agreement
The omission of us to exert or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service does not imply that we have waived that right or provision.
These Terms of Service, as well as any other operating regulations posted on our website, comprise the complete agreement and understanding between you and us, and govern your use of our services, superseding any prior written or spoken agreements between you and us (including earlier versions of the ToS).
Any ambiguity in the interpretation of these Terms of Service will not be used against the writing party.
Law that governs
The laws of the United Arab Emirates govern and are construed in line with these Terms of Service.
